About

Kelly Jo Wilson writes Christian romance that reflects God’s grace, redemption, and love. As a nurse, she has witnessed brokenness firsthand, inspiring her to create stories of healing and second chances.
Kelly’s journey as an author began with silly tales about Willy Worm in first grade.
She had dreamed of being a writer. But after the devastating loss of her older sister, she pursued a career in nursing, driven by a passion for helping people heal and find strength.
As a registered nurse, she’s been privileged to witness the profound impact of human connection, especially in gut-wrenching moments. Despite her love for nursing, she couldn’t ignore the persistent call to return to her first love: writing.
God steered her through brokenness, personal mistakes, and heartache, showing that her stories infused with His grace could encourage others.
She stumbles trying to be obedient, writing love stories that navigate the messiness of life and the beauty of redemption. Through stories, she hopes to connect with women who, like her, have faced their own battles and are seeking a reminder of the transformative power of love and grace.

Here's a Peek Into Kelly's Heart
God’s grace poured out in physical form . . .
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV

The Broken Parts of Kelly
As a teenager, I looked in the mirror one day and didn’t like what I saw. That moment sent me down a spiral that I have struggled with my entire life.
I starved myself from not only food, but the love that I was convinced I didn’t deserve. I tried living up to the person I wanted to see in that mirror.
I realized that person didn’t exist.
I adopted a never-good-enough mindset that bled into all aspects of my life.
On the outside, no one would’ve guessed every mistake, every lie I believed, and every horrible decision stuck inside my heart like a burr. I didn’t deserve to be blessed. I deserved hell.
But Jesus Christ showed me something different.
My worth isn’t about me, it’s because of Him . . . His sacrifice, His glory, His merit. Through the grace of God, His Father.
If you struggle with that never-good-enough mindset, please know, you’re not alone. Jesus wants your heart, and His peace surpasses all understanding.
Do not walk the journey alone. I’m here with no judgments or condemnation, just another person that’s walking that broken path, too.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
